Last Saturday I was cooling off at Cultus lake and decided to try a little flyfishing.....well...the flys were not biting at all but I did manage to hook a nice Marlin...unfortunatly the big guy broke off when I tried to land him.....a bystander took this picture just before it happened. I tried it again for about an hour but nadda ...that was it...and I never had anymore Tom Thumbs that looked nice and bushy like the one the fish took.....you would not think it makes a difference but sometimes ...who knows......maybe I will tie up a few fat ones and try them again maybe.....
