With so much vehicle theft on the river these days a guy has to be careful where he parks when out for a bit of fishing..........

Yup...sometimes I just run outta gas on this posting thing ....so I thought why not just insert some reruns ..what the heck ...TV does it all the time ..and there are 280 or so going back to January 2008.......sooooooo

I reckon once in a while I will just do that....so starting next blog...or the one after.... I will put in a rerun.....

tourists

The Airport Cafe gets its share of tourists..........here are some folks having pictures taken right beside our table...

Timber

Jim is a senior member in good standing of the Chilliwack Flat Earth Society...here he is seen taking a leisurly drive through the local rain forests ..........Jim retired 20 years ago and still enjoys looking at the area he last worked on as a standout timber faller...Yes you can see for yourself the fine job those rugged individuals did...Trees have not been a problem for a long while in this area...... if they get out of hand again we would be hard pressed to find craftsmen of the magnitude needed for that dangerous job.

A few weeks ago an old friend of mine visited for the day.....Mervin Vance....In earlier blogs I have mentioned Mervin a few times about things we did 50 tears ago......anyway...all the way from Edmonton , he picked up his brother (Gordon..Lives in Chilliwack) and we had an afternoons visit...yup it was pretty cool....I think there are a few people who read this would like to see Merv and Gord's Mug shot so here we go.......We talked about Peter Jillings quite a bit...it is almost like he was there...


There will only be a few who look at this who understand any of it......this little blurb contains some great memories and far more fun in a short time than anyone most have ..ever...yup....well maybe thats stretchin it ....but pretty darn good.

I guess the inflooence of the Flat Earth Society has encouraged Charlie to change his ways....he is all spified up now ...constantly on his cell making deals .....seems to be an impotent person ...and quite often in the company of attractive influential people.....he may be up for a permanent position with the Flat Earth Society....
